The Zheng Ning (猙獰) is a creature that looks similar to a red leopard with five tails and a single horn. It lives on a mountain with no grass and trees. It sounds like striking stones.
Tree spirits appear often in Chinese mythology and sometimes will show up in human form as old men.
Bull Demon King (牛魔王) is a fictional character from Journey to the West, and often depicted in both bull form and a hybrid bull-human form (kind of like a minotaur).
