For AAPI Heritage month, we’re spotlighting and celebrating the work of Southeast Asian (SEA) creators and culture! This adorable stamp design features some kitties cooking classic Malaysian fare! (You can read about everything they're cooking below). A complementary postcard-sized print is available alone or in combination with the washi tape!

Printed paper tape with perforation for easy tear or cut guide and features ten unique images. Can be used individually or in a line in planners, journals, or for sealing and decorating mail. A lil’ info on what they’re cooking! (From left to right)

  • Satay – Grilled meat skewers with rich marinade of lemongrass, turmeric and many other spices.

  • Asam Laksa – Thick noodle paired with tangy fish-based soup and garnished with torch ginger.

  • Roti Canai – A type of Indian flatbread served with dal. (and also a staple of Malaysian breakfast!)

  • Ketupat – Rice cooked inside woven palm leaves, usually made in celebration of Eid.

  • Teh Tarik – Hot, strong tea mixed with sweet condensed milk and poured back and forth to give the drink a rich frothy top.

  • Air Batu Campur (ABC) – Shaved ice topped with syrups, beans and seaweed jelly.

  • Yee Sang – A salad dish for Lunar New Year, where fish, shredded vegetables and sauces are assembled on a plate and later tossed together with family and friends to bring in prosperity.

  • Nasi Lemak – Fragrant rice cooked in coconut milk and served with sambal and assortment of other dishes – eggs, cockles, anchovies etc.

  • Thosai – Thin pancakes made out of fermented rice and lentil. Typically savoury and served with coconut chutney.

  • Bak Kut Teh – Pork ribs cooked in rich herbal soup.
